Ingrid Kurath, born in 1968, studied history and political science at the University of Vienna, historian. Feminist basic studies at Rosa Mayreder College Vienna/Strobl. Since 2018 research assistant at the Austrian Archives for Adult Education.

Main areas of interest and research: German nationalism, history of nationality in the Habsburg Monarchy, history of ethnic groups in the First Republic, history of the First Republic, state of estates, history of women, history of adult education.
