The Austrian Archives for Adult Education are affiliated with the Wolfgang Speiser / Karl Stadler Research Library which currently includes 45,000 volumes of historical and contemporary primary and secondary literature from the areas of Austrian and international workers’ education, women’s education, adult education, continuing education and the popularisation of science as well as the general and contemporary history of Austria and Austrian political education.

A collection of periodicals containing about 600 historical and contemporary specialist journals, newsletters and periodicals is affiliated with the library.

The book and journal holdings of the Austrian Archives for Adult Education have been indexed in the THESEUS Archiv information system and can be researched online via Holdings Search.
